Student Benefits

Students enrolled in the SPC Thrive Student Support Program are eligible to receive additional services while attending SPC:

  • Dedicated advisor to help navigate college
  • Transportation assistance
  • Emergency assistance
  • Career assistance

IMPORTANT: In order to qualify for the program, you must be SNAP eligible.

If you are already receiving SNAP benefits and/or once you have determined you are eligible, please fill out this Thrive interest form.

SNAP Facts

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) offers nutrition assistance to eligible individuals and families. The goal of the program is to alleviate hunger and malnutrition by increasing food purchasing power for all eligible households. It supplements food budgets, enabling Minnesotans to buy more nutritious foods. For a single individual benefits can be as much as $194 per month. Students who are currently receiving SNAP benefits can enroll in SPC's Thrive program to access the additional resources listed above.
